Facebook has launched the innovative ‘Facebook Insight’, a range of exciting tools designed to show you exactly how your business page is performing.
After setting up a Facebook business page, it is vital to track your social media presence.
Facebook has released ‘Facebook Insight’ on its website, to give business page owners and marketeers a more detailed view into how well their page and posts are performing.
You can capture two sets of data with the innovative ‘Facebook Insights’: Users and Interactions.
The ‘User Data reporting feature’ is particularly useful for businesses.
By tracking your ‘Active Users’, you can track your ‘likes’, ‘unlikes’ and the number of users who have viewed or interacted with your page.
There are three numerical statistics, which appear in the User Insights page - New Likes (for your page, not the content), Lifetime Likes (referring to the amount of Likes your page has had over it’s lifetime - including those who have Unliked your page), and Monthly Active Users (the number of unique users per the last 30 days).
In a further breakdown, it shows you how many people looked at your page (unique page views), how many people actually saw your posts (post viewers), how many people liked a post, commented on a post and the daily wall posts.
The ‘New Likes metric’ provides you with valuable information about how many ‘Likes’ you have obtained and how many people have ‘unliked’ your page.
View the gender and age of your Facebook fans as well as where they are from and the languages they speak using demographics.
The demographics feature is ideal for identifying your online market.
Find out what people are doing on your Page, what they’re looking at and where people are coming from with User Activity.
‘User Activity’ gives you an insight into how people are interacting with your page in total. Page Views are the number of hits to your Page.
Finally, Media Consumption provides you with a breakdown of how many people watch, listen, and view the content you post on your Page.
